Fremantle Press launches new website
Fremantle Press launched a new e-commerce website in August. The website has been revamped to include specific sections for teachers and book clubs, while making it easier for customers to engage with authors.
Marketing and communications manager Claire Miller said the new website is accessible, logical, and visually appealing with an easier-to-use mobile version.
‘It has been designed to enable our largest online user groups to find the information most relevant to them,’ said Miller. ‘We’ve also made it easier for readers to engage with our authors by integrating online author booking forms, social media links and content such as podcasts and book trailers.’
CEO Jane Fraser said new content included a more personal staff section and a gallery of custom-publishing projects featuring the books the Press has created for Western Australian organisations and companies.
‘We wanted the website to do more than just sell books, we wanted it to be a more personal reflection of Fremantle Press and what we represent today after almost 40 years of independent publishing,’ said Fraser.
The website was designed and created for Fremantle Press by The Frontier Group in East Perth whose clients have included Pet Rescue, Woodside and iinet.
To celebrate the launch, Fremantle Press is offering book club readers the chance to win a copy of their book of the month, Bad Seed by Alan Carter. Check out their new book club pages for more information.
